Miscellaneous Missouri Photos
These are various photos of places around Missouri. I picked them from the photos that I had on my computer here at work. I will try to scan others and change what's on this page sometime.

Nelson Art Gallery, 1995
I used to take Stacey & Stephanie here when Diane had her ladies bible study at our house on Saturdays. They had a blast playing around the Shuttlecock statues on the lawn. I have more photos of them and will try to put them on here somewhere.
Rotunda Ceiling, State Capitol, 1995
Mom was here and we went to Jefferson City one day to see the Capitol Building. We all had a great time and enjoyed Mom being with us.
Nichols Fountain on the Plaza, Kansas City, April 2001
I think everybody has at least a few photos of this fountain. It is on the West side of the Plaza (a shopping area) on 47th Street. Anyone who lives here would instantly recognize it. Cammie visited here years ago and we walked around the Plaza with her. I imaging that anyone who has visited here has seen it.
Liberty Memorial, Kansas City, May 2002
This is the Liberty Memorial, the only World War I memorial in the United States. At the dedication ceremony on November 1, 1921 the main Allied military leaders spoke to a crowd of close to 200,000 people. It was the only time in history that those leaders were together at one place: Lieutenant General Baron Jacques of Belgium, General Armando Diaz of Italy, Marshal Ferdinand Foch of France, General John J. Pershing of the United States, and Admiral Lord Earl Beatty of Great Britain.
Fountain, Union Station, Kansas City, October 2001
This is the fountain across the street in front of Union Station. I don't remember the name of it right now, I will have to find out what it is. It continuously cycles thru a water show that is fabulous. I will have to go down there again and take some more photos.
Silver Dollar City, Branson, Christmas 1999
We went down to Branson for Thanksgiving instead of going to Tan-Tar-A where we usually go. We spent at least one day at Silver Dollar City. They have their Old Time Christmas in November and December. The lights and music are spectacular. I have too many photos to put here. This is the Musical Christmas Tree. It cycles thru a music and light show every 15 minutes that is unbelievable. It's always crowded around the tree. you have to get there when a show ends to get a good spot for the next one.
Chapel, Powell Gardens, Kingsville, August 1997
This is the inside of the Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel at Powell Gardens. Diane likes it so much that she says Stacey & Stephanie are going to be married here.
